The Salvation Army - Fort Dodge

The Fundraising and Community Liaison assists with fundraising, event planning, organizing, and helps to promote The Salvation Army within the community, its activities and services to generate giving to all areas of corps work. This activity has no regular schedule. Requires a few hours a month. Supervised by corps officers.

Other tasks may include assistance as needed with fundraising events ( garage sale, bake sale, pancake breakfast,..etc)

Potential volunteer for this position would be an outgoing person with established relationships within the community as well as an ability  to create new partnerships. Adults would be the best candidates for this opportunity.  It would be beneficial for a volunteer in this position to become an Advisory Board member with the Corps.
