ParkCare Visitor Assist - Nature Play - Tidbinbilla Bush Detectives
Tidbinbilla: Nature Play – Tidbinbilla Bush Detectives
Where children can enjoy our play spaces rich in nature-based, open-ended experiences that give children, families and communities an opportunity to connect with nature and each other. Helping them replace “screen time” with “green time” and reconnect with nature.
During this activity children are encouraged to explore the bush trail and try to find the nature treasures along its course. The aim is to incentivize the establishment of relationships with the environment, as well as appreciate nature characteristics.
The activity consists of a bush detective walk around the sanctuary at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. In a playful way, we will inspire the children to appreciate environmental characteristics and arouse their curiosity about local fauna, flora, and abiotic factors.
