ParkCare Ranger Assist - Volunteer with Ranger Bernie at Cuppacumbalong/ Murrumbidgee River
Cuppacumbalong is an historic property located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in Tharwa.
ACT Parks Rangers are working with the landholders to rejuvenate the historic Cuppacumbalong gardens and extend this work into a range of opportunities in the river corridor, we are looking for a team of volunteers to help us out!
This will be a recurring event, so if you enjoy yourself- we'd love to see you again another week.
This will be a supervised volunteer event where you will be working side by side with Ranger Bernie and her team.
Please bring your gardening gloves, water and a snack. You will need to wear sturdy enclosed shoes, hat and sunscreen.
The meeting point location will be updated here on the hub when it changes.
The meeting point for Thursday 7th June is the tree line to the old De Salis Cemetery. Drive past Cuppacumbalong and turn left into Outward Bound. Follow the road till you find Bernie and her PCS Ute :)
