ParkCare Ranger Assist - Assisting Rangers with Dog Baiting Program
We are looking for a volunteer to join Ranger Bernie on a trip around Mt Tennant , Blue Gum Track and the Orroral Ridge in Namadgi National Park to help with recording details/ data entry on the Dog Baiting Program.
The volunteers will be required to ride in a 4WD vehicle on a rough track and frequently open gates and jump in and out of the vehicle to record data at each bait station.
You'll need to wear sturdy boots, long pants and long sleeved shirt and a hat. Bring water and a snack and a bit of lunch.
Volunteers can meet Ranger Bernie at the back of the Namadgi Visitors Centre at the start of the shift.
