Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program

Our ‘green thumb’ volunteers help sustain the vegetable patches we use and need to deliver our cooking/gardening programs in local primary schools and early childhood settings. The produce is harvested and made into healthy food for the children to try.
Maintaining these vegetable gardens and sensory gardens is a great opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the next generation, while also reaping the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
Our programs are currently available in Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville and Orbost.
