Social Support - Lakes Entrance

Our Social Support program runs a range of innovative social group sessions in our fully equipped Day Centre in Lakes Entrance.
Life skills, craft, light exercise, reminiscing, cooking, gardening and many other interests and hobbies are supported by our social support staff and volunteers. In addition to regular daily social groups, our clients are also offered a variety of specialised interest sessions, support groups, informative wellness focused functions and cafe style socialisation.
Offsite outings, walks and exercise in the community and visits to local establishments are regularly scheduled, along with monthly guest speakers and musical experiences.
Our volunteers can assist our staff with the delivery of sessions in a variety of ways, including set up of activities, cooking with clients in our Social Support kitchen, chatting and interacting with clients, supporting clients on outings, and serving coffee/tea and snacks or meals.
