Koala Management
Tasks may include:
•Assist with the cleaning of animal enclosures (hosing, raking etc.)
•Assist with the cleaning/sterilisation of bottles and syringes
•Assist with the preparation and administration of food supplements
•Removes old browse and replace with fresh browse
•Cleaning interpretive signage
•Wash and dry linen
•Clean/tidy photo hut
•Assist in scrubbing animal perches and gum bins
•Cleaning of koala hospital room
Requires you to commit to at least 1 shift per fortnight on a regular day (8.30am start). Vacancies in the program are limited.
It is important to note there is NO handling of animals in our volunteer program.
