General Duties - 'Green Team' ( working as a group on Tuesdays)
Tasks may include:
•Assist with routine maintenance of areas identified within CWP
•Maintenance of a wide range of native plants (e.g. watering and weeding tube stock and potted plants held in the nursery)
•Removal and disposal of noxious weeds by hand-pulling, using a rake/hoe, spraying or cut & swab
•Assist with the removal and disposal of fallen limbs and other debris from designated areas, displays and enclosures
•Assist with the placement of mulch onto revegetation areas, displays and enclosures
•Assist with minor projects and repairs
•Assist with the maintenance of koala gum plantations
•Assist with the placement of tree-guards and semi-permanent fencing around plants and planted areas
•Cleaning of interpretive signage throughout park
•Collecting seed, propagating seedlings
•Preparing animal food (pellet) bags.
When? Every Tuesday for a 9am start
