Welcome to the Cleland Wildlife Park
Volunteer Portal
So you’re interested in becoming a volunteer at Cleland Wildlife Park?
Volunteering is a great way to experience South Australia's magnificent parks and wildlife, and an opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and work in a friendly team environment.
Purpose
The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is responsible for South Australia's nature conservation, heritage conservation and animal welfare. Cleland Wildlife Park (CWP) plays an important role within the department in the conservation and promotion of some of our states unique native wildlife. Cleland Wildlife Park Volunteers are members of the Friends of Parks, a state wide community based volunteer group who work in partnership with DEW staff to help protect and conserve some of SA's natural and cultural heritage.
Our dedicated group of volunteers assist park staff in the care and maintenance of the parks wildlife and natural habitats, and support environmental education to visitors of CWP and the Mount Lofty Ranges.
