Program Convenor Volunteer - Position Description
Role
To provide leadership and supervision to a program group at the Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre.
Time Commitment
- Various hours depending on the program
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between staff and program participants
- Liaise with Centre staff, program participants and program support
- Provide leadership and a rewarding experience for participants
- Other duties as required as per the Coordinator, Recreation
Requirements & Qualifications
- Organized, with attention to detail
- Punctual, consistent and reliable
- Friendly
- Must meet requirements of general volunteer program
- Be an ambassador for the Centre

- Accessible Customer Service Training
- Corporate Volunteer Training (Includes infectious disease training)

Evaluation:
- Performance evaluation completed by Supervisor and Volunteer annually.
