The Youth Volunteer Ambassador  assists with various activities at the site. They encourage client's participation in activities. 

Youth Ambassadors are the extra pair of "helping hands" that add to the trained services of the Long-term care facility staff, working together to enhance the lives of residents

The Youth would work alongside the Recreation Staff to assist with small groups, for example: games, cards, nail painting, crafts, puzzles etc.

Volunteer will assist with the setup, participation, and cleanup of the program 

The volunteer assists in encouraging and engaging residents to participate in programs to improve a residents well-being based on these 5 domains:

•  Physical
•  Cognitive/Intellectual
•  Emotional
• Social
•  Spiritual

Shifts times vary :  Monday to Sunday   mornings , afternoons and evenings.
