Time commitment: Adhoc, roughly once a month for 2-3 hours

About The Children's Trust: The Children's Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury. Come and join our team of 500 dedicated volunteers who support us in the vital work that we do, to give children with brain injury the best life possible.

Role purpose: We are looking for Community Champions to help spread awareness of the important work of The Children’s Trust by representing the charity at community events and giving talks to local community groups.

What will the role involve?

  • Representing The Children’s Trust at local events
  • Giving talks to local community groups such as Rotaries, Lions, WI’s and Schools
  • Actively approaching schools and community groups to book talks
  • Working with The Children’s Trust PowerPoint presentations to give passionate and engaging talks about our work

What skills and experience will you need? 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident speaker
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the work of The Children’s Trust
  • Own transport to get to a variety of locations in your local area
  • A 'can do' attitude
