North Country Fair - Takedown
The CREW: Do you want to stay after the fair? If you would like to do your volunteer hours after the festival, takedown is for you.
Every festival puts a tremendous strain on the environment it is held in. As stewards, of The Land, we put a tremendous amount of peoplepower into making sure the NO garbage is left behind. This involves picking up trash, moving firepits, moving picnic tables, and making sure everything is put away into storage.
The Job:
-
Takedown volunteers work Monday - Thursday AFTER the fair
-
Expect to work in the elements up to 8 hours a day
-
Food will be provided at hospitality during the festival and the days of work following the festival. Only crew members will find out the additional post-fair perks
The MUSTS:
- Takedown volunteers are expected to pay for their ticket which will be reimbursed once you complete your hours
- Valid driver's license required to drive the site trucks and gators (not everyone needs to drive)
- Physical labour; includes heavy lifting; walking for periods of time
