North Country Fair - Site
Site is accepting 10 new qualified volunteers for 2026:
-(2 positions available) experienced in weed whacking and other landscaping activities, must have experience with gas powered grass and weed trimmers. Power saw experience would be an asset. Volunteers may be asked to perform other tasks as well.
-(4 positions available in Site Setup) volunteers will need a good attitude and be willing to work long hours in a team environment. Must be ready to work Monday morning June 15
- (4 positions available in Site Construction and Maintenance) volunteers with basic hand tools and experience in the trades, ability to follow instructions, willing to work by oneself and/or in a team environment. Must be ready to start work Monday morning June 15th.

Our Site crew is comprised of two main groups with separate tasks but often working with each other. This is what the jobs entail.
Site Setup
-transportation of materials from storage to designated areas
-moving firewood to designated areas
-cleaning and preparing the Fair site
Site Construction and Maintenance
-maintenance of current infrastructure
-new construction projects including stages, privacy walls, picnic tables and the many other projects we do to further our infrastructure every year
Site volunteer expectations
- Ready and willing to start work Pre-fair Monday morning
- Safety footwear
- Able to perform physical labour, repetitive movements, heavy lifting
- Able to work in all weather conditions for extended hours
Suggestions for volunteers
- rubber boots, rain gear, extra socks
- Appropriate clothing for outdoor work
All Site volunteers are encouraged to stay post fair to help in taking down the fair site.
