North Country Fair - Hospitality Party / Post Fair
The CREW: First this crew prepares and serves the volunteer party meal, then as the festival winds down, the take down crew need to be fed and the kitchen needs to be emptied and cleaned up.
The JOB:
- Prepare leftovers to serve take down crews
- Clear out unused food, sanitise all kitchen equipment, leave kitchen mouse proof
- Food and beverage handling including prep work, service and clean-up
- Some physical labour may be needed; includes heavy lifting, repetitive work and standing for periods of time. *Please Note: We have accommodated various physical needs in the past and will endeavour to continue this practice.
Volunteers will be responsible for prep work, service, and clean-up:
Post-Fair Hospitality Volunteer Times 2025
Hospitality Volunteer Party: Sunday 1 pm - 9 pm
Post-Fair Hospitality Volunteers: Monday June 23 - Wednesday June 25
Post-Fair Party Wednesday Evening
The MUSTS:
- Have kitchen experience
- Ability to work in a "Rustic Kitchen" (water is hauled, power is provided by a generator, and our cooking fuel is propane)
- Be comfortable with repetitive work
- Be able to work in a team-oriented environment
- Be willing to bring and wear closed toe footwear
