Hospitality Fair Time

Thursday afternoon - Sunday brunch

The CREW: These folks keep hundreds of North Country Fair volunteers and performers happy and fed.  They slice, dice, stir and mix delicious meals for many to enjoy.

The JOB:

  • Food and beverage handling including prep work, service and clean-up
  • Some physical labour may be needed; includes heavy lifting, repetitive work and standing for periods of time. *Please Note: We have accommodated various physical needs in the past and will endeavour to continue this practice.

Volunteers will be responsible for prep work, service, and clean-up:


Pre-Fair & Weekend Volunteer Times 2024    

Pre-Fair Hospitality Volunteers: Monday June 17th 7 am – Friday June 21st 5 pm

Fair Weekend Hospitality Volunteers: Thursday June 20th 10 am - Sunday 23rd    2 pm

 

The MUSTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have kitchen experience
  • Ability to work in a "Rustic Kitchen" (water is hauled, power is provided by a generator, and our cooking fuel is propane)
  • Be comfortable with repetitive work
  • Be able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Be willing to bring and wear closed toe footwear

Assets:

  • Cooking and hospitality experience
  • Food Safety courses
  • Serving
  • Dish washing / dish pit
  • Returning NCF Hospitality Crew
