North Country Fair - Children's Area
The North Country Fair is a family friendly place! The Children's area is a spot near the kids' stage where kids and parents alike can chill out, get out of the sun and play around with games and crafts. The Children's Area volunteers host (free to the public) child friendly activities beside Reed's Stage (Our family stage). This area requires volunteers who are energetic, who enjoy spending time with little people, are creative and self-driven. Experience in the education, children's groups, or child-minding fields are an asset. Volunteers must be able to work morning, afternoon and/or early evening shifts during the festival. Youth are welcome to volunteer in this area. Experience with tie-dye is helpful.
This is not the area for volunteers with a baby or toddler of their own to care for. There are many other areas better suited for volunteers to balance caring for their own baby with their volunteer hours.
