House - Reception/Administration

Work performed within this group relates to a wide range of assignments in the provision of staff support to the internal operations and projects of the organization.

  • Set up reception desk each morning – meet with House Coordinator for update on House activities for the day
  • Greet and welcome visitors to the House
  • Answer phones and take accurate and clear messages
  • Refer visitors to appropriate staff or to family
  • Ensure Staff sign in/out
  • Ensure contractors and visitors to the House sign/out
  • Ensure corporate volunteer group members have all signed in and registered their contact details
  • Provide laundry tokens and change to families
  • Hold car keys securely for cars double parked in car park
  • Put up notices and/or deliver notices to rooms
  • Receive and manage in kind donations
  • Other duties as directed by Office staff throughout the day
  • Pack up reception desk each afternoon
