Volunteers are the Heart of Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney's (RMHC GWS) 60-room House in Westmead and services such as our Hospitality Cart on children's hospital wards.
Over 140 volunteers donate their time every year to make life a little easier for families with sick and injured kids. Working in various roles for as little as one hour a month to several shifts a week, RMHC GWS volunteers have provided practical and compassionate support to families with sick kids for more than forty years.
Just as volunteers make a difference in the lives of the families they meet, they also tell us often how much the experience of volunteering positively impacts their own lives.
