Adult Day Center

At Catholic Charities, our Adult Day Center (ADC) offers older adults who require extra care an alternative to a nursing home or attendant care facility, acting as a place where they can come during the day and enjoy fun, relaxing activities while interacting with others.  We strive to maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each participant in the delivery of services to them, as well as assist in maintaining a safe, neat and clean environment. The Adult Day Center also functions as a resource hub for families and caregivers of older adults, providing information on aging needs as well as educational opportunities and support groups for caregivers.

Legal Services for Immigrants

The Legal Services for Immigrants program (LSI) helps low-income immigrants navigate through the maze of immigration laws. We help provide them the opportunity to remain safely in the United States with their families and obtain work authorizations, leading to better jobs with better benefits for their families.  Additionally, LSI provides free informational sessions to the immigrant community about new immigration initiatives and changes in the law. Providing accurate information helps ensure that immigrants are not harmed by unreliable rumors or unscrupulous notaries public.

Migrant and Refugee Services

Since 1976, Catholic Charities’ Refugee Resettlement program (MRS) has welcomed and resettled thousands of refugees into our local communities. No matter what the country of origin, refugees face incredible cultural challenges throughout the resettlement process.   MRS assists refugee clients with everything they need to become self-sufficient, including securing housing and food, arranging and transporting clients to medical appointments, enrolling children in school and parents in ESL and cultural orientation classes, and helping the parents secure employment.  MRS also offers other opportunities for socialization and professional skill building, such as computer classes.

Hours Available: Varies based on placement

Outreach Case Management

For some clients juggling multiple issues, we provide ongoing support through our Outreach and  Case Management Services. The Outreach Case Managers work with clients to identify issues, problem solve, and together create a plan to address long term needs and transform lives. As an advocate for the client, the Case Manager will help the client obtain available community resources.

The goal of case management services is to work with clients to help them attain a greater degree of self-sufficiency and overall improvement in their lives.

Hours Available: Mondays- Fridays 9 am-5 pm
