Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee

Volunteerism brings invaluable benefits to Catholic Charities and those we serve. With your support, we can continue to improve lives and show compassion to our neighbors affected by poverty. Through your time, talents, unique skills, expertise and passion, volunteers help us to build upon the efforts of our staff and assist in expanding our services far beyond our agency doors.

Internships

Our internships allow for students to supplement their coursework with hands on, direct client experience in their field. We offer ongoing professional development and mentorship to help interns and staff continue to grow and excel in their careers, as well as be able to provide the best level of service to those we serve. We offer a customized experience to meet the requirements of your internship and degree program.

Refugee and Immigrant Services

Catholic Charities Refugee Integration Services works with refugee communities and other partners to design programs that leverage community assets to facilitate the integration of refugees and immigrants into communities across southeastern Wisconsin.

To foster integration, we develop programs in partnership with refugee & immigrant communities that promote social bridges and bonds, develop desired skills and cultural knowledge, and encourage US citizenship. We offer a spectrum of learner-centered trainings so that refugees build the real-life knowledge, attitudes, and skills that they want to achieve success. Volunteers in our program have the chance to build relationships with new residents through a variety of activities. Participants work together at times and locations convenient for them.
