Welcome to the Surrey Fire Service community engagement volunteer program!
The Fire Community Engagement Volunteer opportunities are designed to deliver important fire safety and emergency preparedness messages. Our goal is to serve those in our community who are most vulnerable, at risk, and those who will receive the greatest benefit.
As professional fire fighters find an increase in frequency and variety of calls for service, their availability to proactively reach out into the community is becoming limited. The Fire Community Engagement Volunteer program exists to bridge this gap and connect the Fire Service to the City of Surrey residents in a way that will save lives.
Through displays and resource tables set up at community events, and through presentations delivered to specific target groups, the following information is delivered:
Seniors Fire & Fall Prevention
Students Fire Safety
Personal Emergency Preparedness
To join us, click on the 'Fill in an application' button under the sidebar heading 'I would like to volunteer' to begin. Please be sure to maintain only one account on www.MyVolunteerPage.com and use it to add yourself to other areas of opportunity rather than creating multiple accounts. Once you have completed the final three steps you can begin serving in the community:
