Agua Caliente County Park

Located in the Anza-Borrego Desert, this popular park is known for its geothermally heated spring pools, scenic desert hikes, and stargazing. The seasonal campground offers cabins, RV sites, and tent camping from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

  • Agua Caliente County Park has six host campsites with full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer).

Vallecito County Park and Stage Station

37349 Great Southern Overland Stage Route, Julian, CA 92036

Tucked in a remote desert valley, Vallecito offers peaceful, seasonal camping with shaded sites and scenic desert trails. The park is home to the last remaining sod building in California, a historic stagecoach station from the 1800s.

  • Vallecito County Park has two host campsites with full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer).
