The Victorian Animal Aid Trust

Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday

Shift times: 9am - 1pm, 1pm - 5pm and 9am - 5pm

Non Discretionary Duties:

• Set up of empty pens in preparation for new animals
• Feeding Adoption Dogs
• Cleaning Adoption Pens
• Walking Size /Temperament appropriate dogs (Training over 3-4 shifts prior to walking any dogs)
  
• Rotating dogs in and out of pens for toileting
• General Cleaning of facility
• Restocking of consumables
• Laundry
• Dishes - Feed and water bowls
• Experienced Volunteers - Cleaning of pens in Recovery and Pound 
• Experienced Volunteers - Feeding Recovery and Pound

Discretionary Duties:

• Grooming
• Spending time with the more nervous / anxious dogs - assisting them in gaining trust with humans to assist in reducing the time it takes to be adopted
