Mon - Sun Shift times: 9am to 1pm, 1pm to 5pm
Sale & Bairnsdale
Mon to Sun Shift times: 8am to 2pm
Non Discretionary Duties:
- Set up of empty pens in preparation for new animals
- Feeding Adoption Cats
- Cleaning Adoption Pens
- Rotating cats in and out of exercise pens
- Cleaning of Kitten Pens
- Feeding all Kittens
- Rotating Kittens in and our of Cat Maxes through out the shift
- General cleaning of facility
- Restocking consumables
- Laundry
- Dishes - Litter trays / feed and water bowls
- Experienced Volunteers - Cleaning of pens in ISO and Pound
- Experienced Volunteers - Feeding ISO and Pound Cats
Discretionary Duties:
- Grooming adoption cats
- Spending time with the more timid cats / kittens - Assisting them gaining trust with humans to assist in reducing the time it takes to be adopted
- Playing games with the cats for stimulation
