Join us for a two-part beautification project to help refresh and enhance the outdoors spaces at the Spring Valley Community Center a hub for recreation, learning, and connection for visitors of all ages.

Whether you're planting, mulching, or simply sharing a smile, every helping hand makes a difference!

Part 1: Entrance Revitalization

Saturday, Feb. 14 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Help us create a warm and welcoming first impression by improving the landscaping at the front entrance of the center.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

• Preparing and turning soil
• Planting new shrubs and greenery
• Laying fresh mulch to complete the look
  

Part 2: Patio Revamp

Saturday, Feb14 • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Next, we'll bring new life to the center's patio, a gathering space for classes, programs, and community events.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

• Refreshing planter boxes
• Adding vibrant plants to the courtyard
• Enhancing the overall look and feel of the outdoor space

Who can Volunteer?

• Open to all ages; individuals, families, and groups welcome
• No experience necessary! County Parks staff will provide tools and guidance
• Tasks range from light to moderate: planting, mulching, raking, and watering

What to Bring:

• Comfortable clothes (long pants and closed-toe shoes)
• Gardening gloves (we'll have extras)
• Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle
• Positive energy and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
