Spring Valley Community Center

Join us in giving Spring Valley Community Center a fresh, vibrant new look! This two-part project focuses on enhancing the natural landscape around the facility and creating welcoming outdoor spaces for the community to enjoy.

Spring Valley Community Center is a place where community is created through people, parks and programs. The center offers a wide variety of leisure services and lifelong learning skills for visitors of all ages. Lets give back to the community through this beautification project!

Entrance Revitalization: Saturday, February 14, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Project Details:
Volunteers will help transform the greenery at the front of the community center. 

Activities will include:

• Working and preparing the soil
• Planting new shrubs and plants
• Laying down fresh mulch to complete the space
  
  

This effort will help create a warm and inviting entrance for all visitors.

Patio Revamp: Saturday, February 21, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Project Details:
Continue the restoration effort by focusing on the community centers patio area. 

Volunteers will:

• Refreshing the planter boxes
• Planting greenery to brighten the courtyard
• Enhancing the overall look and feel of the outdoor gathering space

Volunteer Details:

• Open to all ages; perfect for individuals, families, and community groups
• Tasks may include raking, planting, watering, mulching
• No experience necessary. County Parks staff will provide guidance and tools
