Atlantic International Film Festival - Operations
During the Atlantic International Film Festival there are many exciting moving pieces behind the scenes that contribute to a seamless execution of events. Whether it's on site at Cineplex, at parties, receptions and galas around Halifax, the Operations team help to cultivate and deliver on the logistics of the festivities!
Roles include:
Setup & Tear Down: Support the Operations team in unloading, setting up or tearing down special events equipment. This can also look like putting the finishing touches on décor and literally rolling out the red carpet ahead of a star studded event!
Runner: Support the Operations Manager in a myriad of ways by being their dedicated runner! No two shifts will be alike; receive catering and set it up ahead of a staff meal, shuffle banners between theatres or help setup a cinema ahead of a premiere - the Operations runner is integral in supporting the mechanics of operations as a department.
