Community Shed First Aid Volunteer - Gumeracha
The Community Shed, located in Gumeracha, is required to have a first aid officer on site and this role will in the first instance fulfill that requirement. The volunteer may also want to be involved in undertaking shed woodwork activities or social elements of the program but that is not a requirement.
The Community Shed First Aid Volunteer will support the Community Shed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by ensuring all First Aid requirements are met. If an accident happens you will ensure your own safety first and then will provide first aid as appropriate and according to current PFA training. You will be supported by Community Centre staff.
You will need to have a current First Aid qualification which includes CPR (training costs for this qualification will be provided).
