Event Description:
Enjoy Earth Day and join us for Tree Planting, San Diego County Parks' annual tradition of connecting with the outdoors. If you are looking to get outside, this is the perfect opportunity to help the environment through a fun and rewarding tree-planting experience.
Tree Planting Party Details:
This all-ages event is perfect for families, friends, and community groups. Under the guidance of our knowledgeable Park Rangers and Department of Parks and Recreation staff, you’ll learn proper tree planting techniques—no experience necessary! Once trained, you'll get hands-on experience by planting native trees that will help improve the park and its habitat for generations to come.

Volunteer Details:
- All ages welcome; children must be supervised by an adult.
- For those interested in loading/unloading materials, the ability to lift 30 lbs. or more is essential.
- Instruction and tools provided.

- Long pants & sturdy, closed-toed shoes
