Skills College - 2026 Introduction to Crosscut Logging Techniques
Interested in learning about using crosscut saws on the trail? This class is an introduction to crosscut saw usage on trails. We will cover why they are used, when they are used, and how. The class will also cover what a non-certified sawyer can help with on a crosscut saw project. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to use a crosscut saw. So if you have ever wondered about crosscut saw projects, this class is for you.
Please note, this class is not for becoming certified to use a crosscut saw. To become a certified crosscut sawyer, you will need to take an advanced certification course. CV and other organizations provide the separate certification course at other times. Class limited to 15 students.
