Natural Resources - Waldo Lake Campground Tree Planting
We have several hundred seedlings that are ready to be planted in Islet or North Waldo Campgrounds on Waldo Lake. We need to get them in the ground before the frost and snow come.
Volunteers should meet at the Middle Fork Ranger Station (46375 Hwy 58, Westfir, OR 97492) at 8:00 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Bring gloves, weather appropriate clothing, lunch, and water. We will provide shovels, hardhats, and trees.
Space is limited to 10 volunteers, so please sign up before heading out to the Middle Fork Ranger Station.
If you need gloves, please contact Cascade Volunteers at volunteer@cascadevols.org
