Skills College - 2026 Chainsaw Maintenance
Students will learn the basics of chainsaw maintenance. The course will include how to remove the bar and chain and inspect and clean them, how to remove and clean air and fuel filters, how to inspect the power head for loose bolts and damage, how to remount the bar and chain, and finally, they will learn how to file (sharpen) the chain. This is not a course to learn how to diagnose any other chain saw issues. Students may bring their own saw. There will be saws for the demonstrations at the training site. Course will be limited to 10 students.
