Library Services - Toy and Lego Cleaner
Brief Summary of Activity: Clean the Wee Play toys and Lego blocks
How You Will Make a Difference: The Library holds a Lego Club on a weekly basis.
A popular activity, Lego Club allows children of all ages to participate in building Legos on either our large Lego/Duplo blocks or on our regular-sized Lego blocks.
You will ensure that the toys that the children play with on a regular basis are cleaned regularly.
Typical Day or Task: Sign in, pick up your volunteer lanyard, cleaning rags, and cleaning solution.
Ask a librarian for the key to the Community Room or ask for any Lego Bins that are partially cleaned.
Benefits: The Lego Club is a popular program and you will be ensuring that the Legos are kept clean and tidy for our Lego users!
Commitment or Schedule: Please be willing to commit to at least six months of volunteership.
Qualifications: Volunteers 18 and over are welcome to apply. You will need to be fingerprinted. Volunteers 15-17 are also welcome to apply.
