Library Services - Litter Pick Up
Summary of Activity: Use litter grabbers, gloves and vests to safely pick up litter from around the Cambrian Branch Library, its parking lots, and its sidewalks.
How You Will Make a Difference: Help out in the Community by assisting to make the Library a beautiful space!
Typical Day or Task: Safety is most important. You must wear a safety vest, gloves, and use a litter grabber. You will be provided with a garbage bag to use.
You will walk around the exterior of the Library to pick up litter to place in the garbage bag. Please report any unusual things that you see.
15 minutes prior to your shift ending, please deposit any trash into our outdoor trash receptacle.
Benefits: Your efforts will have an immediate impact upon beautifying the Library for all to enjoy!
Commitment or Schedule: Please be prepared to commit to this volunteer activity for at least six months.
You can sign up for a one-time group activity or for a morning on either Monday or Friday each week to volunteer.

Qualifications: Fingerprint clearance required for volunteers 18 or over. If 15-17, you are required to have an adult to also volunteer to provide supervision.
