Our Netley Centre is looking for Reception Volunteers to help provide a warm and friendly welcome to patients, relatives, carers, and other visitors. As the first point of contact for many people, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and reassuring experience from the moment they arrive.
This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a caring and supportive team while supporting the vital work of Highland Hospice.
As a Reception Volunteer, you may:
- Welcome patients, new admissions, relatives, and visitors
- Provide information and assistance to those arriving at the centre
- Help create a warm, professional, and friendly environment
- Answer queries and support visitors as needed
- Assist with computer-based administrative tasks during quieter periods
We're looking for volunteers with a cheerful, outgoing nature, good communication skills, and confidence using computers. Most importantly, you'll enjoy helping people and making others feel welcome.
