Our shop volunteers play a vital role in raising funds for Highland Hospice while enjoying the opportunity to meet new people, gain valuable experience, and be part of a friendly and supportive team.
Whether you're looking to build confidence, develop new skills, make friends, or give back to a local charity, there's a place for you in our volunteer team.
Volunteers help with a variety of tasks, including:
- Sorting and preparing donations
- Pricing and displaying stock
- Creating eye-catching shop displays
- Serving customers
- Operating the till
- Keeping the shop welcoming and well-presented
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in gaining retail and customer service experience. Young volunteers can also work towards a Saltire Award while making a positive difference in their local community.
Volunteer shifts are available Monday to Saturday, with both morning and afternoon options.
We also welcome reserve volunteers who can provide occasional cover during holidays and busy periods.
Minimum age: 16 years.
