Van Driving - driving licence essential

Retail Volunteer Van Driver

Help deliver more than stock, deliver vital support across the Highlands.

Every item donated to Highland Hospice has the potential to make a difference, but first it needs to reach one of our shops. As a Retail Volunteer Van Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring donated goods are distributed across our network of shops, helping to generate the income that funds hospice care and support.

You'll travel throughout the Highlands delivering stock to our retail teams. Delivery days are always eagerly anticipated by shop staff and volunteers, and you'll be helping keep our shops stocked and thriving.

This rewarding role is perfect for people who enjoy driving, meeting others, and seeing the impact of their volunteering first-hand. As volunteers always work in pairs, it's also a fantastic opportunity for friends to volunteer together.

Why join our van team?

  • Help raise vital funds for Highland Hospice
  • Enjoy travelling around the Highlands
  • Meet and work with like-minded volunteers
  • Receive full training and ongoing support
  • Make a meaningful difference with just one day a month

No previous experience is required. You'll receive on-the-job training, including a short session with a qualified driving instructor, to help you feel confident behind the wheel.

Operating days: Monday to Friday
Hours: Start in Inverness at 8:00am, typically returning by 3:00pm (depending on route and traffic)
