Join our friendly retail volunteer team and make a difference in your local community!
Our shop volunteers are at the heart of what we do, helping to raise vital funds that support the work of Highland Hospice. It's a rewarding opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills, and be part of a welcoming and supportive team.
There are a variety of tasks to get involved in, including:
- Sorting and preparing donated items
- Pricing stock for sale
- Creating attractive shop displays
- Serving customers
- Operating the till
- Helping to keep the shop looking its best
This role is ideal for anyone looking to gain retail experience, build confidence, develop customer service skills, or give back to a local charity. Younger volunteers may also be able to work towards a Saltire Award or Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Volunteer shifts are available Monday to Sunday, with morning and afternoon options to suit your availability.
We also welcome reserve volunteers who can provide occasional cover for holidays and other absences.
Minimum age: 18 years.
