Our Harbour Road £1 Discount Shop offers fantastic value to customers while raising vital funds to support the work of Highland Hospice. As a volunteer, you'll play an important role in helping the shop thrive while being part of a friendly, welcoming team.
Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, gain valuable experience, build confidence, and support a local cause that makes a real difference across the Highlands.
Volunteer tasks may include:
- Sorting and preparing donated stock
- Displaying and replenishing items
- Helping create attractive shop displays
- Serving customers
- Operating the till
- Keeping the shop tidy, organised, and welcoming
This role is ideal for anyone interested in gaining retail and customer service experience, returning to work, learning new skills, or simply giving back to their community.
Flexible shifts are available Monday to Saturday, with morning and afternoon opportunities to suit your availability.
We also welcome reserve volunteers who can help provide cover during holidays and busy periods.
Minimum age: 16 years.
