Ness Islands Railway Volunteer
All aboard for a unique and rewarding volunteering experience!
Join the friendly team at the Ness Islands Railway, a much-loved miniature railway that delights children and adults alike with its scenic half-mile journey through the heart of Inverness.
As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for visitors. Duties may include selling tickets and refreshments, assisting passengers, providing excellent customer service, supporting the safe operation of the railway, and helping with light maintenance and upkeep of the station and grounds. Some mechanical or engineering skills are welcome but certainly not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to:

The railway operates throughout the season, with volunteering opportunities available at weekends during term time and throughout the week during school holidays.
