Helping Hands (Befriending) - INVERNESS / ROSS-SHIRE

Helping Hands Volunteer
Make a real difference with just a few hours a week.
Our Helping Hands volunteers provide companionship and a friendly face to people living with advanced illness and their carers across the Inverness and Ross-shire area. Through regular home visits, volunteers offer meaningful social connection and support that can make a significant difference to someone's wellbeing and quality of life.
You'll receive comprehensive training and ongoing support before being carefully matched with a client who suits your interests, experience, and availability.
All it takes is around 3 hours a week, a caring nature, and a desire to help someone who will truly value your time and friendship.
This is a highly flexible, volunteer-led role, allowing visits to be arranged at times that work for both you and the person you support.
