2012 TaiwanFest! 台灣文化節 - 【蒂摩爾古薪舞集】大都會表演/【Tjimur Dance Theatre】MetroSquare Show
Tjimur Dance Theatre will be coming to MetroSquare on August 23!
Inspired by Paiwan traditions, Tijimur Dance Theatre is one of Taiwan’s most exciting Indigenous contemporary dance companies. Established in April 2006 in Tjimur Village, the company is led by founder LiaoYing-Chieh, Artistic Director Liao Yi-Hsin and budding choreographer Madilin Baru. The company promotes local culture by sharing the refined art of Indigenous dance and music fused with modern dance and everyday gestures.
As a promotion event for TaiwanFest, we will need a total of 4 volunteers on August 23 from 11am to 3pm to assist in set up and crowd/traffic management.
Because a lot of customers at Bamburgh Gardens has Chinese background, we will prefer volunteers who can either speak Mandarin or Cantonese.

蒂摩爾古薪舞集 多年來，致力於原住民部落培育種子舞蹈教育、推廣文化藝術、部落傳承，運用「原住民“新”舞蹈美學」將現代肢體語彙，表演排灣族傳統優雅的肢體律動
做為台灣文化節推廣活動之一，我們需要義工幫忙設置場地、管理車輛及秩序等...
義工的時段為 8月23日 早上11點至下午3點，共需要4名義工
地點：大都會廣場 (3636 Steeles Ave East)
