Please join us for one of our other volunteer opportunities to come out to help preserve the Sensitive Marshland and Coastal Sand Dune habitat Dog Beach. See below for upcoming dates/ times.

Save the date for the 40th annual Coastal Clean-up day this Saturday Sept 21th. Come join us as we partner with I Love a Clean San Diego to help keep our beaches clean after a very busy summer. For Shoreline Parks volunteer opportunities in Sept see below. You may sign up via Better Impact.  http://bttr.im/7770y We encourage all participants to bring your own work gloves. No prior experience required.

Please be sure to bring at least 32 ounces drinking water and wear closed-toed shoes (required). We also recommend you bring the following: sunscreen, hat, long sleeve shirt, long pants, sunglasses, and other sun protection.

OB Estuary Enhancers

Tasks: Habitat Restoration (Invasive plant removal, trail maintenance and trash/litter removal).

Location: Sand Dunes near Dog Beach (Dog beach parking lot, near 5150 West Point Loma Blvd). Meet at grassy area at the entrance of the entrance of Dog Beach parking lot.

• If you applied for the Habitat Restoration volunteer opportunity at Shoreline Parks, please submit the One Time Participation Agreement. You will need to complete this before your start date.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOLUNTEER:

1. Select Location as “Shoreline Parks” under the drop down tab
2. Under the Supervisor tap, you will need to write in “Sonja Nystuen” (this line is not a drop down tab).

Alternative Option : For those volunteers interested in Long-Term Volunteer opportunities, Please complete the required Long-Term Volunteer Participation Agreement by clicking Here

** If you are interested in volunteering for multiple events, you won’t have to fill out the volunteer participation agreement for each event if you select the Long- Term participation agreement option, you only need to log your hours for each event in the future.
