Volunteer Workdays - October Creek Cleanup
Mastodon State Historic Site will be hosting a Creek Cleanup service project on Sunday, October 15 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Volunteers will help keep our waterway healthy by assisting park staff in removing litter from Rock Creek and the surrounding trails. If it is too cold to access the creek, volunteers will focus on the trails and picnic area.
Participants should meet at the picnic area. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get wet/dirty. Gloves, trash bags, and trash pickers will be provided but please bring your own water bottle.
