Day Surgery Volunteer
Serving as ambassadors for Foothills Medical Centre, volunteers will assist in welcoming patients when they arrive to Day Surgery.
Volunteers will ensure that individuals feel a sense of being welcomed and provide any guidance/support in a helpful manner. Volunteers will be asked to assist in taking pre-operative patients to assigned bed at the direction of the Charge Nurse and must adhere to strict confidentiality.
Program Availability:
Friday mornings 8am to 12pm. Volunteers are expected to come in once a week.
Volunteers must be 21+, reliable and mature who are able to commit to a regular weekly shift of 3-4 hours for a minimum of one year
