McCallum Theatre

Volunteering at the McCallum

Our volunteers are considered ambassadors of the Theatre as they are among the first representatives of the Theatre that the public will encounter. We are proud to say our volunteers have a long tradition of excellent service, professionalism and incomparable hospitality. Our volunteers demonstrate well our customer service philosophy where the patron is treated as a welcomed guest in our “home” and we are prepared to make their stay a memorable one.

We are proud of our 175+ Ambassadors who serve on our Volunteer Usher Team.  As a not-for-profit performing arts center, we understand the ushers play a significant role in our ability to present quality entertainment and fine arts to our community. The volunteers truly are a critical part of the McCallum and a key reason for its success.

We strive to make our Volunteer Program an enriching experience where great friendships are made and the volunteers enjoy giving of their time. This is why we have been able to retain so many of our volunteers with some of them being with us since the Theatre’s opening in 1988.
