As a Consumer Advisor you bring a different perspective by providing a patient, carer and community view in decision making, service improvement and planning.
Areas where consumers often help us include:
- Developing and reviewing patient information
- Sharing stories and collecting patient feedback
- Partnering with staff on committees or short-term project work groups related to quality, safety, research and patient experience.
- Reviewing and developing training and education
