Santa's Helpers Board Positions

Organization name: Leduc Santa's Helpers Society

Vision: Leduc Santa's Helpers is a needs-based organization that provides toys for Leduc families with children.

Vision: Every family regardless of personal circumstances has a Merry Christmas.

Location: TBA

Board Position: Vice President

  • Position requirements:
    Perform the duties of the President in his/her absence. Assist the President with the overseeing the activities of the organization such as stated in the President duties.
    Be active in the decision-making process that aligns with our mission and values.
  • Time Commitment: Must attend board meeting on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., for approx. 2 hours. Additional hours as required.
  • Term and Meeting Schedule: 2 year term commencing April 8th

Board Position: Director

  • Position requirements:
    The LSHS shall be governed by a board consisting of not less than four (4) and no more than nine (9) directors. Formal documented Board Job Description are developed for each role.
    Be active in the decision-making process that aligns with our mission and values.
  • Time Commitment: Must attend board meeting on the second Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., for approx. 2 hours. Additional hours as required.
  • Term and Meeting Schedule: 1 year term commencing April 8th

Leduc Boat Club Instructors

Leduc Boat Club is recruiting Outreach Instructors for the 2026 season.

Location: Leduc Boat Club on Telford Lake

 

Position: Outreach Instructor

Time Commitment: Mainly during school hours, various days of week, few weekends. Shifts up to 3 hours.

Required Qualifications: Current First Aid Certificate, Safe Sport on-line Training (Free)

Sport specific training (not all required): Canoe Kids (Canoe and Kayak) or Paddle Canada Instructor status in canoe or SUP, Dragon Boat Canada Instructor, Learn to Row Instructor, Pleasure Craft Operator’s Card. Leduc Boat Club can provide training for the sports that may interest you.
