Volunteering at Royal Museums Greenwich

Welcome to the volunteer hub at Royal Museums Greenwich!

Royal Museums Greenwich comprises the Royal Observatory, Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House. We are also home to the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre in Kidbrooke and the Caird Library and Archive.

Together we’re dedicated to enriching people’s understanding of the sea, the exploration of space, and Britain's role in world history.

We have a social purpose at our heart - to serve our communities and stakeholders in line with our functions as museums and heritage sites. We want to be a progressive national museum - brave and bold, relevant, inclusive, collaborative, proactive, ethical informed and expert.

Please note: All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. If your application is successful we may need you to complete a Disclosure for security clearance.
