Rollator Repair Corps

A rollator is a four-wheeled walker with a seat. Many older adults and people with disabilities rely on their rollators for mobility both inside and outside of their home. Like cars and bikes, rollators wear out over time and with use. Loose brakes and worn wheels pose safety issues to rollator users. Richmond Aging and Engaging trains individuals in basic rollator repair and maintenance and holds pop-up repair clinics throughout the community.
- Approximately 1 hour of on-line training + 1 (or more) hours of in-person practice is required before volunteers can assist at pop-up clinics.
