Gardening Team
We are actively seeking volunteers to join our Gardening Team!
Reporting to the Volunteer Coordinator, the Volunteer Gardener will assist with general care & maintenance of the flowerpots and gardens around the facility complex. This is a physically demanding role requiring good physical fitness, including the ability to bend, lift and kneel.
This position would appeal to someone who has a passion for gardening and the natural world. We are looking for our volunteers to have great people skills as visitors who want to ask questions about the garden may approach you looking for general gardening tips. It is a great way to share your love for horticulture and inspire other people to garden.
We are recruiting a team of Volunteer Gardeners to pull weeds and trim shrubs during the gardening season (June to September).
